This is a song I wrote. Its one of my less-good ones but I'm working on it.
When the days last breath is gone,
And no one is left to sing a victory
song,
We wring our hands and talk no more,
For no more love is here.
We lived a lie, no one can die.
Going to fight, we knew no pain,
Not carrying weather the ebbing despair
will take us here.
Yet the days first light was too
bright,
The air so cold and chilled,
And then we knew the fate that we must
choose.
But we turned back, the strength in our
arms all gone.
Gone, all gone, no time to waste.
We must hasten and leave this place,
Leaving the world to its own cruel
fate.
We flee for I our lives, we still live
a lie.
No one can die... No one can die.
And when the days last breath is gone,
No heart strong to sing a song of
victory and war.
And as we sought to find truth in our
lies,
The world slowly, slowly dies.
For its cruel fate is at hand,
We didn't stop them from they're evil
plans.
And now we weep, for their blood is on
our heads.
We cry, we mourn, seeking for truth
reborn.
All we can see is the dark, cold pain
we call despair.
We blindly reach out for the sick and
the lost,
Trying to save them... Trying to save
them.
Our unseeing eyes feel a glow of
something warm and true.
We reach out our hands stained with the
blood of the innocent,
And fell someone's touch.
Seeing now, we cower in fear.
For he is to bring justice here.
But we look around and see that the
last day's breath is gone,
But we hear a song singing of
victorious joy.
And the people who died are not dead,
They feel the presence of love is near.
And now the new days light is soft and
bright,
A warmness no one can explain.
Then we see that while we left the
world to its fate,
He freed it and now they have giving
sight when we still could not see.
Oh, now we see! What evil have we done?
Will we ever be able to be clean again?
But as the world has blood shed and was
saved,
We will be saved and save in His name.
So this blood shed, let it be ours,
So let this blindness be gone.
For we have found, once again,
And will live no lie again.
